–noun
1. Behavior exhibiting excessive or uncontrollable emotion, such as fear or panic.
2. An uncontrollable outburst of emotion or fear, often characterized by irrationality, laughter, weeping, etc.
This blog will serve to document the hysteria brought on by everyday life as a divorced, middle-aged, menopausal single parent in the midst of reinventing herself.
Shelley,
“Smile and the world smiles back”…”when the going gets tough, the tough get going”…”the best way to kill time is to work it to death.” Why did you waste your money on those self-help books when you’ve had ready access to all Dad’s well-meaning cliches for all these years?
Anyway, nice to see you taking on the real world again. Please, just be yourself. That’s more than enough. And, when you’re thinking it may not be, remember…you’re probably the only one thinking that.
Looking forward to some laughs along the way…at your expense, of course! What else would a brother say.
Love ya’,
Scott
I just caught up on these blogs from day one. Keep it up, this is the real work, staying committed to yourself. I am enjoying the writing and seeing myself in some of the words of wisdom. I am sure others are also, hopefully they will be honest enough to say so.
Goodness knows I’m the biggest critic. However, goodness also knows I am honest. So…I honestly have to say you are really talented…keep up the great work. I swear if you get on Oprah and don’t invite me…I ‘m gonna be really pissed.

Hi Michelle,
I am so glad that Nancy found you and your blog. It is very inspiring and of course; so totally you. I will continue to read it as long as you write it and hope someday to attend one of your seminars. There is no doubt at all that you will be a major success. You always have been, but as you say, you’ve been the only one who hasen’t known it. Please keep in touch with us. We speak of you often and of course laugh about all of the adventures we all shared together. Just to keep it real my kids are now 28, 27, 25, 18 and on the 29th of this month I will be 55. Not a grandma yet and it doesn’t look like I will be one in the near future, but I keep hoping . Just better not be the 18 year old that gives me my first grandchild.
Keep on writing, it is a joy to read. Lois
Thank you for explaining the global shrinkage problem. It has been a bothersome concern for some time, but you explained it so now I can understand it. I think Gore might enjoy your insight into the matter as well, as it appears he is experiencing some of the same global shrinkage issues himself.
Michelle you are the best. I can’t wait to read your next blog. Never read a daily prayer, but your blogs are better. Read ya tomorrow!
Just wrote a blog post and categorized it under “personal development”. unlike me, just decided to see other topics under this tag and here i am falling in love with your blog and writing!!!

Weldone Michelle, i am inspired and wouldn’t mind being a protege.
Always,
Tito.
Dear Tito,
Thank you for the compliments. I, too, am glad you found your way to this site. A new friend from another part of the world (or from anywhere) is always a good thing.
I believe you are well past “protege” by first glance at your own writing. And you’re right….”People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care….” Stop by anytime.
Michelle,
Where are you!!! I miss you!!! I hope everything is ok. Please blog soon.
Yara G.
